Bring on bikinis and sqirt guns!

Summer is HERE! It is so hot today. I am really excited for all of the fun things we are going to do this year. Our most exciting adventure will be our trip to Washington the first week of July. We just got done with 2 preschool programs, and 1 kindergarten gradutation. Tait is off to first grade in the fall! We are all so excited for him. The highlight of the beginning of summer has been the baby rattle snake my husband killed in our front drive way after church yesturday. I don't think I will ever sleep the same again. And then the lovely hair cuts both of the girls gave themselves. I will do my best to keep up with my blog throughout the summer. O and here are some pictures of our new house and the yard I am in love with for doing photography. My business is really doing great and I am so excited for fall family shoots.

Easter 2009

We had a fun Easter morning. The kids are having a water balloon fight, and doing finger painting and sidewalk chalk. The girls look so cute in their new Easter dresses. I am loving the deviled eggs and Kirk is kicking back watching a movie. I think I'm going to get sick if I eat anymore chocolate.

Malli's Stove Burn

Our preciouse little Mallori is now walking, and walking fast. We were pulling a pizza out of the oven tuesday night and she decided she wated to help. It was a few seconds before Kirk descovered her their. So, we have a second degree burn that has to be attended to by a doc every 2 days and wrapped and dressed once a day. She will be fine, and is dealing quite well. Thanks everyone for your concerns and love.

Christmas 2008

We had such a great time this year. We have been blessed in so many ways that their is no way to list them all. Its been great with Kirk having 2 weeks off for Christmas. We have been able to tons of fun stuff together as a family. And both Kirk and I have been able to get a few things done around the house.
For Christmas eve dinner we had our good friend Betty over. We all ate pie, song songs, and read the story of Christ birth out of the bible. She read books to the kids while Kirk and I got dessert ready.
Today, the kids got up bright and early. Tait the first at 4:30 am. Of course that didn't fly very well so he was put back to bed for a couple of hours. After pancakes we opened presents and put together 49389072 peaces for their new toys. They had so much fun opening gifts. It was such a great Christmas. Thank you everyone who helped make this day special for our family.
After we decorated some cupcakes with Karen's new cupcake toy, we got all dressed up for sledding. It took forever, but when we eventually got to the hill it was a blast. It was just the right temperature and all of the kids had a really great time. We hope you all had a great holiday.

Picture Time

I took the kids to the mall today to see Santa. Well he was on a 2 hour lunch so I asked If I could just take some pictures since I spent 38473987293 hours getting them all ready. They looked to cute, but as usual they didn't want to sit still. I got a couple that are cute, but nothing extravaganza. Every year they just get cuter don't you think? We had chick fillet for lunch at the mall, and got to talk to Santa during his lunch break!!

Home alone

Now that Thanksgiving is over, life is getting back to normal. We put our tree up and decorated the house. We are all really excited for December. The kids especially. Kirk is gone this weekend and this week. He's in Chicago for work meetings. It will be another crazy week with no help but we will get by. Thank goodness their are a lot of good Christmas movies on. We are looking forward to Grandma Marcy coming the week after Christmas. She still hasnt seen Mallori. Malli took 5 steps yesturday. She will be walking soon. My last baby is already wanting to grow up.
